Ethos and Values
As a trust, our ethos is encompassed in our vision statement…
‘Learning together in pursuit of happiness’
To ensure this is translated into actions and is able to be understood by everyone, we have come up with a list of things which we use to guide us, including how we make our decisions. These are shown below.
– Things we do in our trust –
All decisions are made in the best interests of staff, pupils and families.
High support, high challenge and evidence informed in everything we do.
We work collaboratively and make team, not individual, decisions.
We acknowledge our mistakes and use them to learn and improve.
We are always open to learning and seeking new ideas.
You will see and hear these things happening in classrooms, offices, and carparks. You’ll recognise them when you talk to staff and pupils, and you’ll also see them happening if you attend a trust board meeting or a training session being delivered through our teaching school hub.
